Building Under Ground is made with the theme of "bug" and we play with the title as well as the theme by having the game about a colony of ants.

The objective is to collect resources and have enough food during the winter.

You can collect resources by building a Gathering building and activating it by placing dice on it.

The game is played in phases of morning, afternoon and night. Every night you are attacked by intruders and your defending army will fight them. You can expand your defending army by building a barracks.

Every morning, the dice and building will reset. Some buildings, such as the nest and the barracks, can only be used once per day to create an egg. The egg will hatch at the beginning of the next day. This is how you will expand workers and soldiers. 

When you have collected enough resources, the game will end.

Building Under Ground was made with a preview release of Raven Engine. Raven is a modern game engine with powerful and lightweight rendering and features for game jamming.
